What is Microneedling?

Micro needling is the penetration of the skin using very fine needles.

It is believed to have originated from an old traditional Chinese treatment.

What is involved?

You will have a full consultation before your treatment, we will go through your medical history to check to see if there are any contraindications which will not allow us to proceed.

If everything is fine you will then have the procedure done.

The aftercare will be explained to you verbally, and you will also be given an aftercare sheet for you to keep at home.

How long will the treatment take?

Your procedure will normally be completed within 30-45 minutes.

Does it hurt?

It will feel slightly uncomfortable.

How quickly are the results visible?

These can be seen 6 – 8 weeks following the procedure and will continue over the following months and for up to a year.

A course of micro needling sessions at 6 – 8 weekly intervals, this is usually recommended to achieve optimum results.
